On-site marine service across Sjælland

Copenhagen is the largest yachting hub in Scandinavia. Excellent local expertise exists, but the capacity for complete annual service across five trades – mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, electronics, hull – is difficult to book in a single coordinated window.

Our mobile service team travels from Gdynia to Copenhagen with a fully equipped service van. We work directly at your berth, covering all five marine trades with one crew. For most assignments we plan one to three days on site.

We work in all major Copenhagen marinas: Svanemøllehavnen, Langelinie, Kalkbrænderihavnen, Nordhavn, and the Øresund marinas at Helsingør, Rungsted, Hellerup and the Amager side. For owners along the broader Øresund we co-ordinate trip cycles to minimise travel overhead.

Why Ars Nautica

Four things that matter

01

Five trades, one team

Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, electronics, hull – one team covers all. No subcontractor handoffs, no coordination gaps.

02

Workshop-grade tooling

Service van carries torque wrenches, insulation testers, thermal imaging, compression gauges, diagnostic scanners. Everything a small workshop needs, on site.

03

Class-compliant protocols

Work documented to PRS/DNV/BV standards. Accepted by Scandinavian insurers and useful for class retention and resale.

04

Bundled trips save costs

When two or three owners in the same marina book in the same window, they share the travel fee. Significant savings for clubs and marina groups.

Frequently asked

Questions from owners in your region

How often do you travel to Copenhagen?
Regularly throughout the season. Scandinavia is a standing part of our route schedule. Depending on season, we plan trips every 3-6 weeks and co-ordinate multiple clients in the same window.
What does the travel fee look like?
We quote a transparent flat travel fee per trip, which includes vehicle and team travel time from Gdynia. The fee is the same whether we spend one day or three on site – no hidden hourly travel billing.
Do you work on larger vessels?
Yes, up to around 18 metres length. For larger vessels we co-ordinate the specific logistics before confirming the assignment.
What if additional parts are needed on site?
The service van carries common spares (filters, impellers, seals, lubricants). For specialist parts we use express courier – typically 24-48 hours to the marina.
What languages do you work in?
English throughout. Some team members speak German. For Danish-only communication we can accommodate via translators on request.
